Floribert Chebeya
Floribert Chebeya Bahizire (13 September 1963 – 2 June 2010) was Congolese human rights activist and politician. Hailed by the United Nations as "a champion of human rights," his death in 2010 led to calls for an investigation from more than 50 organisations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, as well as many countries and several senior UN officials, including Ban Ki-moon, Navi Pillay, Alan Doss and Philip Alston.
